OPPORTUNITIES TO PERFORM IN THE GRAND HALL OF BAC AS PART OF BURST 2009

BAC has three exciting opportunities to be part of Burst 2009. We have three performance artists creating pieces that will be performed in the Grand Hall and would love you to be involved.

Be part of the Running Ensemble!
The Running Ensemble was founded by Amy Feneck, who is developing a running and singing performance at BAC. We are looking for more people to join the Ensemble so if you are a runner, are available on 27th May, and fancy a new challenge please get in touch for more info. You can follow the progress of the Running Ensemble at http://runningensemble.blogspot.com/

Celebrate the female form

Calling all London Women! Young or old/tall or short/athletic or curvy! Nic Green’s performance Trilogy returns to BAC. The performance in short, is a celebration of the female form, and of what it means to be an individual, dynamic woman. The first part of the Trilogy (the performance) ends with a high energy, ensemble naked dance. It is a powerful and emotive moment, presenting the female body in an alternative, empowered way, and celebrating the difference and diversity between us. Open to all women, regardless of fitness and level of ability. The performance is on 26th May.

Dance around your handbags
Thursday 28th and Friday 29th May see the return of Geraldine Pilgrim to BAC’s Grand Hall. Once more we require both men and women to take part and dance to some glorious disco beats for her visually stunning ‘Handbag Scratch’. No experience necessary – just join the ensemble.

To get involved in any of these or for further info please contact Sally Rose at sallyr@bac.org.uk
