QUESTIONS FROM THE PAST Friday 12 February 2010, 14.00–15.30 Artist Grace Ndiritu works at the intersection of film and performance. This talk uses performance video art from her Still Life and Responsible Tourism series to dialogue with paintings from the Orientalism movement and Henri Matisse, examining how these works influenced Western ideas of Africa in the late nineteenth century.
