Work of Art Threatens to Bring Down Kenya's Coalition Govern

Image
The Kenyan Newspaper the Daily Nation reports that the one year old coalition government is on the brink of collapse after a discovery of a 17th century work of art worth billions of shillings in State House, Nairobi, Kenya. The art is attributed to the Dutch master Van Rentyal. The Kenyan Head of State, Mwai Kibaki is said to have ordered the valuable work of art to be stored under armed guard in his official residence’s armoury. Different factions of his government are divided as to what should be done with the art work with some saying that it should be sold to feed the hungry and help build roads or fund other social welfare projects around the country. Another group demands that the work of art be restored and put on show as part of the nation’s heritage.

Following the gold lines that lead out from the theme title board to the various sub-categories reminded me a little of the Wizard of Oz 'Follow the yellow brick road' and that I did. The works are classified through Martian perspectives, attributing function to each piece. Artwork is treated as artefa...
