Legends: The Teller and The Told
Date: 17-18th October 2014 Time: 12-6pm Location: Centre for Contemporary Art, Lagos (CCA,Lagos), 9 McEwen Street, Sabo, Yaba The music, politics and ideologies of Afrobeat music pioneer and human rights activist Fela Anikulapo Kuti, would influence Nigeria and the World long after his death in 1997. As part of the 2014 Felabration celebration, The Video Art Network Lagos (VAN Lagos) will be screening five films documenting his life and impact, including unreleased footage.
